ANNOUNCES FALL 2007 VIDEO COMPETITION!

A key component of the Super Pal Universe is to encourage involvement and participation by the whole community in our program. To promote this, we will conduct ongoing Video Creation contests tied to the key themes of our program.

Fall 2007 Video Creation Contest – ENERGY EFFICIENCY!
Our first contest will focus on the theme of Energy Efficiency.
The deadline for submittals is November 16th at noon. The top 4 finalists will be invited to attend our Super Pal Gala and Awards Ceremony on December 9th at the Alamo Ritz Theatre!

Contest Guidelines:
The contest will target kids of any age and may include individuals or teams from area schools, non-profits or community groups. Entrants will submit a 3 minute or less video or animation piece dealing with Energy Efficiency, with awards going to those that display the highest levels of creativity.

1st prize - $2500 cash and a Dell digital content creation PC
2nd , 3rd, 4th prizes – Cash awards of $1500, $1000 and $500

Cash prizes will only be awarded to sponsoring schools or community groups, they will not be awarded to individuals!

All eligible entrants may also have their videos posted on the Super Pal Universe website and will receive special recognition and prizes from our sponsors.
